 LOCO NAMEPLATES

Locomotives were named from the earliest days and in most cases were fitted with a pair of Nameplates generally made from gunmetal/brass. Many names were used again as steam locos were scrapped and with the withdrawal of steam in the 1960's diesel and electric locos took over some of these names.
